Rehband, a global leader in premium sports protection and performance supports, and the Austrian Dodgeball Association (ADBA), the national governing body for dodgeball in Austria, have entered into a partnership naming Rehband the Official Supplier of Protective Equipment of the ADBA.
Under the agreement, Rehband equips the ADBA’s women’s and men’s national teams with protective equipment and holds category exclusivity for sports supports, protectors and compression sleeves at central ADBA events and national team activities.
The partnership brings together two organizations committed to helping athletes perform at their highest level, push beyond their limits and realize their full potential. Dodgeball challenges athletes through a constant combination of sprinting, cutting, dodging, diving, catching and throwing on hard indoor courts. Rehband knee pads and protective supports are anatomically designed to provide a secure fit, shock absorption and reliable protection against contusions and floor burns — without restricting the mobility athletes need to accelerate, change direction and throw.
As part of the agreement, Rehband also served as an Official Sponsor of the Dodgeball World Championships Graz 2024, which the association hosted at the Raiffeisen Sport Park from August 11–17, 2024 with around 150 teams from across the world. On home soil, Austria’s national teams — known as the Austrian Eagles — won all three cloth categories, beating the United States in the men’s final, Northern Ireland in the women’s final and England in the mixed final.
Founded in 2013 and based in Vienna, the ADBA oversees dodgeball across every level of the sport in Austria — from its national teams to the Austrian Dodgeball League (ADBL), contested for the national championship title in the women’s, men’s and mixed divisions since the 2015/16 season, and the development of clubs, coaches and officials. The association represents Austria within the World Dodgeball Federation (WDBF) and the European Dodgeball Federation (EDF), which is itself headquartered in Vienna. Alongside the established scene in Vienna and the surrounding region, the sport continues to grow in cities such as Graz and Innsbruck.
The partnership also extends to the association’s own channels. Rehband products are presented in the ADBA online shop with a direct link to rehband.com, and the ADBA acts as an official retailer of Rehband products at dodgeball community tournaments and events.
The agreement with the ADBA reflects Rehband’s commitment to dodgeball, a sport in which the brand also serves as the Official Knee & Elbow Sleeve Partner of USA Dodgeball. It joins an international partnership portfolio in which Rehband serves as The Official Knee Sleeve of the World Fitness Project and The Official Knee Sleeve of Monster Games.

About the Austrian Dodgeball Association
The Austrian Dodgeball Association (ADBA), which appears publicly as Dodgeball Austria, is the national governing body for dodgeball in Austria and the organization that represents Austria within the World Dodgeball Federation (WDBF) and the European Dodgeball Federation (EDF).
Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Vienna, the ADBA fields the national teams known as the Austrian Eagles, has organized the Austrian Dodgeball League (ADBL) for the national championship title in the women’s, men’s and mixed divisions since the 2015/16 season, and develops clubs, coaches and officials across the country.
