Now, I'm using the older model (7791); Rehband was willing to check their warehouse to see if they still carried it. They did, and they even gave me 20% off. Which, like someone from my gym said, is great customer service.
Now, based on visual, I think the newer model has a stiffer neoprene, and also a slit at the bottom of the sleeve in case you have particularly large forearms (I don't), but even in the case of the older model, they're flexible enough that they clearly aren't prone to blowing apart like Brian Shaw's sleeves.
I'd recommend them to anyone. Do yourself a favor, quit chasing buying the newest, stiffest, most uncomfortable sleeves on the market. Buy a pair made to last that has some adjustability (besides, it's mostly tension/compression that gives you that %weight increase, which is what the straps are for) and just focus on getting stronger. Peace ✌️
