I've been using these knee pads for over 15 years. They protect the knee well in a fall and the material stretches slightly over time, which is quite good as it conforms to the knee and becomes more comfortable. I think it would be better to attach the label to the inside of the pads so that it's not visible, even if you cut it off.
I measured my knee 34.5 cm and size S fits perfectly after wearing it twice.

Everything worked out great. I got the wrong size, but I was able to exchange it easily and got a different size right away. Perfect! That's how it should be.
