Across the world, men die an average of six years younger than women, and for reasons that are largely preventable. Which means that it doesn’t have to be that way. We can all take action to live healthier, happier and longer lives.
November is the official Men’s Health Awareness Month. Rehband will honor this together with Movember and the astonishing Rehband ambassadors Josh Bridges and Tia-Clair Toomey. Every Monday during the month of November Josh Bridges and Tia-Clair Toomey will challenge the global functional training community to a grueling workout. These will be shared across the globe to kick-start a worldwide movement in support of Movember’s important work to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide.
1 man in 8 will be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. Movember’s mission is to put an end to men dying too young. The risk of getting Prostate Cancer increases by age, but can affect younger men as well, so we encourage everyone to get tested. The difference between early and late detection can be life and death. Fathers, partners and friends face a health crisis that isn’t being talked about enough and staying silent is not an option. Both Josh and Tia will run a personal fundraiser for Movember.
Follow Tia-Clair Toomey and Josh Bridges to participate in the weekly workouts and make a move with #Rehband4Movember. Make sure to use the hashtag and you might be featured on Josh or Tia’s Instagram channel. Together we can make a difference for men’s health!
